Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary:
The Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound is responsible for providing clinical expertise, delivering web-based and onsite product demos, with a focus on the adult learning, simulation methodology, educational tools and technology, consultancy, and clinical medicine. The Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound assists with the growth and development of the CAE North American sales team through product education (e.g., consulting and training) initiatives, and sales demos. The Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound will function as an educational clinical expert within the zone to ensure initiatives are achieved vs. demonstrated. Focus is on delivery of CAE Healthcare sales demos, both virtually and live, as needed.

Additionally, the Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound will be tasked with ensuring the Zone Sales Team has product education from a clinical perspective. Enabling the TSM to present each product in the most effective manner possible. On occasion, the Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound will provide technical support (simulator troubleshooting) in collaboration with the customer service and technical support to ensure the needs of the customer are met in a timely manner. The Specialty Sales Manager Surgical/Ultrasound provides active participation in the overall growth and development of the zone.

Position Responsibilities:
Provides clinical sales demonstrations for potential and existing CAE clients.
Coordinates product education initiatives, including educational design (with the guidance of the Academy) to ensure it meets with all current teaching methods.
Participates in product design, research, and development requirements for new and emerging educational products as applicable.
Attends zone education conferences to meet with customers, attend workshops, and can leverage emerging trends in the marketplace as assigned. Collaborates with customers in the development of educational programs. Participates as a team member in department work and in team meetings.
Applies Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint knowledge at an intermediate level of Microsoft application, Windows OS, Mac OS, and iOS. Utilizes a unique presentation tool. Enters data appropriately into Salesforce: entering all client demo notes for accurate follow up by sales person.
Works closely with Customer Support, and Zone Manager to ensure technical support is available and a trouble ticket is resolved swiftly when and if identified while conducting a demo experience.
Works collaboratively with Customer Support if onsite and the system requires troubleshooting.
Demonstrates continuous learning and applies skill and knowledge to facilitate individual department and organizational goals/standards.
Stays current with regulations related to education and Information Technology.
Researches class materials, department ideas, and organizational/healthcare related topics. Applies research, new concepts/information, and best practices to program content or methodology.
Develops commercial strategy for growth of patient simulation market in given territory, and execute sales plan accordingly
Drives Territory Sales Manager funnel development through analytics, install base, and programs, while supporting technical discussions with customers
Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Required:
2-5 years of medical sales, B2B, or equivalent sales experience
Must live in assigned Zone.
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in related field.
Advanced capabilities in basic computer applications.
Knowledge of adult learning theory and application.
Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
Excellent public speaking skills; organizational skills, communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to interact with various types of Healthcare and Educational professionals.
Ability to travel as required, minimum travel 70-85%

Preferred:
One year experience providing clinical education to adult learners in a clinical setting.
Relevant clinical certification or clinical licensure as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician, Radiology Technician, X-Ray Technician, or EMS professional.

Familiarity with a wide variety of simulation platforms; specifically, patient simulation
Experience with simulation-based education and simulation center operations.
Experience in providing onsite or remote clinical education support to a customer.
Experience with conducting virtual (web-based) education using Zoom, WebEx, or similar platform.
Experience in selling capital medical equipment or equivalent product

General:
Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever representing CAE Healthcare (e.g., program site, trade show, etc)
Performs all duties in complete compliance with all legal and ethical standards
Maintains security of proprietary information
Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment and necessity dictates

Physical Requirements:
Able to push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds (e.g., mannequins)
Able to sit for long periods of time utilizing computer systems
